Should I get a big temp dip before AF arrives? I know I just started temping so that may not be easy to answer...but theoretically...there should be a temp dip right? Now, for most women is that temp dip significant or does it just drop a little? My temps have been pretty high the four days I have taken them and there was a good dip the 2nd day that went back up the third day. Today, the fourth day, I had a tiny tiny dip...but it's still pretty high. AF is due today...If my O date was the earlier of my two positive OPK days.

Mine typically drops about 1/2 way to the coverline/pre-O temps the day before AF (I have spotting that same day too) then the rest of the way to the coverline on the first day of AF.

Oooh, I see you've charted info for the whole month, although only just started temping! That's a little more useful in predicting when you O'd It seems perhaps you would have O
'd on the second of your two possible dates as your CM wasn't really indicative of O around the 31st.

My gut would say you're about 9 dpo but of course without the temps it's difficult to know for sure...

Either way, to answer your question, the small drop today wouldn't really be enough to indicate af was on her way... but then some women don't experience the drop until af is already here so it's one of those 'it's different for us all' things - frustrating, I know!

Ha ha ha! Yes.. I had a FF account before I even thought to temp. It was a good way for me to keep track of everything. I think you are right and that I O'd the second of the two possibilities. I'm not 100% sure though because my breasts hurt so badly...even on the sides...which is my indication that AF is due. I can't imagine why they hurt this much if AF isn't coming this week sometime. Last cycle AF came on the 17th, that's tomorrow...so I guess I will know then. Thanks though...I wanted to know how it normally works for women before AF shows...you answered that for me!

I agree. I think your temps still are looking good for a bfp.

Here is one of my charts. I don't normally see a huge temp drop but you can see where it starts going down before AF shows.

I wish I had been temping the entire month so we could see if the high temps are normal for me or if they could be an indication of pregnancy. Unfortunetly...that's not the case. Oh...well...I'll just keep waiting.

Thanks for showing me your chart...it was helpful!

This is what mine did last cycle. I usually have my drop and then start AF sometime that day.
