Just wondering how many of you use the free version of FF vs. the paid version? Obviously paid would have more features, but is it necessary?

I had paid for a software that could be downloaded to my computer incase I didn't have internet access, but realized today when AF came it's no good. My last cycle was 25 days, they averaged my cycles to be 30 and this cycle was 40 days. If I let the software calculate it, it still shows O information as if my cycle was 30 days, and if I do it manually, it shows I wouldn't have O'd on my 25 day cycle because my O date would have been after. Waste of money on my part

I personally like the paid version, it helped me out a lot more. I don't think you have to have it but I think if you are serious about temping and everything, it's easier with the paid version.

I use the paid version of FF and I have to say I LOVE it. It gives me tips and info bits... I know lots of ladies just use the free version, but I have to say I'm really glad I paid for it. Just my .02

Mine is the free version but I also have the ovusoft software which adjusts my temp for me according to the time I took it and tells me information about what my body is doing.

What are the other cool features for the paid version?

I've had the free VIP trial a couple of times and honestly, the only thing I really miss is being able to see the symptoms that you've checked right there on the chart.

I think I would just start with the free version. That is what I used for a while and then I finally upgraded. If you use the paid version they will give you discounts when you renew, especially if you want to pay for six months or a year. I paid for several months so it was a lot less expensive that way.
