Result was:

TEST: hCG, Beta Subunit, Qnt, Serum
RESULT: < 2
UNITS:mIU/ml
LAB: 01
Female (Non-pregnant) <10
Female (Pregnant)
1 D-1wk 5-50
1-2 wk 50-500
Continues with weeks and levels

So...basically I am assuming that I'm not pregnant. Tell me if you agree? I found this online...and I haven't missed my AF yet...but I'm assuming it's still negative.

PREGNANCY TEST Serum hCG (U/L)
Interpretation
. < 2 U/L
negative (if taken after first missed period)

If it is less than 2 you are probably not pregnant but it still could be possible if you ovulated later than you think or if the egg hasn't implanted yet. The good thing is that now that you are charting you will have a better idea what is going on with your cycle.

Implantation commonly happens between 7-14 DPO. Even a blood test will show a neg if you haven't implanted yet. But have you only been temping a short time? Are you sure about your O day?

I think my O date is pretty correct. There is always a chance that it wasn't..but I think it was June 7 and June 8. I don't know when implantation would have occured, and I had the blood test taken at 10dpo.

When an egg implants...how much hCG, immedietly, goes into the blood? Could it have been too early, if implantation just occured?

Your hcg doubles approximately every two days. So if the egg just implanted you would probably need to wait 2-4 days for hCG to start getting into your blood stream.

Ok. I'm going to take the test for accurate then. Thank You.

No, you can't buy them. I went to a place in GA called Any Test, Inc. and paid to have it done. I was then given the results which I then had to interperte myself. My doctor never saw the results because it wasn't done by his office. It cost too much at his office so I went to this other place.

Assuming you're right about your O date 10 DPO could have been too soon for a positive blood test. HCG doesn't hit your blood stream immediately upon implantation. It does start to build up, but you won't test positive the day that implantation occurs. Levels can actually start out very low so it's usually wise not to test until at least 4 days after implantation has occurred and even then the BFP may be incredibly faint. Good luck!

Ok, firstly, think you were 9dpo when you got blood drawn. Note the last line of your results post: negative (if taken after first missed period)

You haven't missed a period, infact you're at a point where some blastocysts are yet to implant (and become the embryo).

So while I understand you feeling disapointed, technically speaking, you're not out of the running yet.

I know it's difficult, but patience is the key! I've still got hope for you so hang in there!
