Hi all. I usually stick around TTC#1 but I have a charting question. this is only my second month charting. If my temps aren't steadily increasing does this mean that I'm not pregnant? I've ready some places that they have to continue to go up and some that say they just have to stay above the cover line so I'm confused. I had a huge rise two days ago but it's gone back down now. Still above the cover line though

Just as we're all different in the way our bodies work, our 'pregnant' charts can all look different too... a few minutes looking through fertility friend's chart gallery confirms that!

Yes, charts that go up and up can be pregnancy charts. And similarly, I've seen charts where the temps barely reach over the covr line, ocassionally dip below and are still pregnancy charts. Some are triphasic (a second temp shift up after implanation), some aren't. SOme have an implantation dip, some don't. Many will dip at about 4/5 dpo, many wont... You get the idea But you're right in thinking that they are mostly above the coverline.

To put your mind at rest why not take a little browse through the pregnant charts and you'll notice how different they all are

Amanda is exactly right. But you should be very close on being able to test and just a few more days before you know for sure. Good luck!

I agree with the other ladies. My bfp chart was one of my stinkier looking charts. Try not to read too much into it. You can still be pregnant.

And btw, welcome over to the charting board! I hope you will stop by more often.
