I set my alarm last night for 3 am to temp, aaannnnnndddddd... I woke up this morning when it was light out, and I was like, "what?!" and sure enough it was 6am. The alarm was still set but someone had turned it to ring from "beep" (which I usually have it on) to "music" (which the volume is turned all the way off on ) so that's why I didn't hear it.

I immediately thought of you ladies and how maybe it's contagious or something, since this never happens to me. Good thing nothing exciting is going on in my cycle yet. lol Although, I did temp just to see what it was (I won't use it on my chart, it was just for my information) and it was pretty close to where it's been anyways. Weird.

Girl! Why temping at 3AM? That would kill me! I'm already complaining that I have to set mine to 5AM every day of the week just because of the two days I have to go to work early... More power to you! GL!

LOL! It *was* 2am (which I will have to go back to) but I decided this cycle to change to 4am, but it turns out that SOMEONE will wake me up just before that time so I changed it to 3 am after like 3 days becuase at least then it's not someone climbing into my bed and talking to me and making me speak to them, too.

The reason is that I have a 4 (almost 5 *sniff, sniff*) month old baby and he wakes up at night, but I generally get at least until between 2-4am before he wakes up (or dh will get him before that time, as he tends to stay up later than I). But after like 4am - and sometimes after 3-, he's up quite a bit so if I want to temp and have an ACCURATE temp at that, it must be then.

Lyndsey did that too. She nursed like a newborn until I weaned her at 2 and a half. She would wake me up pretty much every night.

I have been doing the same thing. Last night I slept well though.

I think we all need a vacation!

Kristin, I SOOOOO am not a breastfeeder, and I would die if a 1.5 year old was still waking up to eat anything at that age! That is definitely habit, not need. I don't know how you do it!

Daniela, that is funny! It's like your brain is afraid of missing the alarm.

I didn't temp last night because I'm sick and have a fever, so it wouldn't have been accurate. So that's TWO nights I missed. I still have a bit of a fever, I hope it breaks before this evening so I can take it tonight!
