Cuz I have some REALLY good ewcm today! and it seems to have come out of nowhere! So far this cycle I've had *mainly* sticky, and not a lot of it. Couple days of creamy, but not a lot. Today I've had some WICKED ewcm and the ONLY thing I can think of (besides bizarre freak of nature) is the green tea I've been drinking to keep me from near death (flu, and thanks to my asthma and my antidepressant, can't really take much of anything to help).

My opks are still neg (though I got a much better line today than yesterday), so I don't think O is gonna be tomorrow or anything, but we are soooooo gonna bd tonight, just to get some guys in there. I am cd 17.. Maybe? Maybe soon? Please? lol

Good for you!!!!!! I'm not sure about the answer to your question though! Green tea seems to be good for everything so I don't see why it wouldn't be good for some EWCM!

Thanks Daniela. We're gonna bd tonight, just in case. I was happy to see that ewcm, I hope that means O is coming soon.. A girl can hope, right? lol

I googled it, and while there is no scientific evidence, per se, what I am finding is that green tea *tends* to increase and thin out cm (obviously a good thing, the thinner it is the easier sperm can move through it) AND there are studies that DO show women who drink 1/2 cup or more per day of green tea DOUBLE their odds of conception in a month. The studies are faulted, though, because they don't account for perhaps other things women might be doing (better eating habits, etc) that make them more likely to concieve.. but still. Being that I suddenly have ewcm, I think I shall keep up with that and see where it goes!

Green tea has fantastic health benefits full stop, and there is anecdotal evidence of it increasing ewcm/fertility in general. I also read something about how it should only be consumed up until O and I kinda forget now why but nonetheless I bought a supplement (I can't bear to drink it - I tried years ago and periodically since simply because of how it's a 'wonder cure-all drink'). And yes I only take it until O

Put it this way, it can't be *hurting* your chances!
