IF - with so many missing temps - I'll be able to detect O if/when it happens?

Also, I HAD it set to "temps only". Which, when i put in todays temp, told me I was 6dpo and ovulated on cd14. (doubt this)

So I put it on "temps AND cm", which makes it use the rule of thumb on some temps. Well.. I don't like that, I think it is unnecessary.

So.. I put it on "cm only" and it stops messing with my temps. But I'm not sure I should leave it with cm as mine doesn't always actually "match" with my O dates (or at least it hasn't so far...)

What do you guys think? I sure wish I weren't missing so many temps. But the days I missed were becaues I was running a fever, so I didn't bother to take it.

hmmm, IDK. I don't like the rule of thumb either, but I am pretty good at just being able to eyeball a point of data that is an anomoly. I like to keep them for personal reference though, so I'd rather not use the rule of thumb. It too seems unnecessary to me

I can see why it says you ovulated on day 14, but I think that is just a computer being a computer. Your temp went up today even higher than that. Maybe you O'd today or will. I think you'll be able to tell because your missing temps are so early. If you were missing temps from this week, then it would be difficult.

I hope you feel better after your fever!

Thanks, my whole house is running through the flu.. most of us are now getting better, but my teeny tiny baby is getting it today I really was hoping it would skip him because its a particularly nasty bug and it's mainly in the chest, so if he gets it.. well, it could be bad.

Anyways. lol I did miss a couple temps this week, even yesterdays temp, as I did take it and it was over 39 degrees! You can see, when my temps are usually low 36.. well, you can see why I didn't record it, it was definitely a fever!

I'm just confused. Which interpretation method I use changes my coverline and which temps they use rule of thumb on.. how dumb. Someone said perhaps I o'd yesterday or today? Hmm... We shall see. I hope this baby lets me sleep and get some accurate temps in the coming days!

Oh no! I hope your little guy stays healthy. Sometimes it doesn't hit the baby as badly as others. I hope that's true for him. I was actually just with my little guy for three hours trying to put him to sleep because he just screamed, and I think he may be getting sick too.

I see now that you're missing the three temps. I had only seen the temps from the week of AF missing. It could be that you O'd yesterday, going by CM, and today's is a little higher than all of the recorded temps. I would wait a couple more days to make any judgements based on temps. What are your temps usually after you O?

I hope your little guy isn't sick. It's always so sad when they are. 3 hours, though, you are superwoman! lol I hope this is the case. Dame was a preemie, and his lungs aren't as strong as they could be (I think he has asthma or something but the dr filling in for my dr when I brought it up said that babies aren't capable of getting it that young.) so if it's in his chest.. well, I worry for him.

Okay, anyways. Again. lol My usual post-o temps are 36.4 and up. Today's temp was *almost* 36.4... I am not sure that I actually have ovulated. With the ewcm I was having, I suppose it's possible, I'm just not convinced, ya know? My temps will tell, if they stay up then I guess I did. If they don't, well, it was likely fluke. lol I'm treating it now like I haven't ovulated. It's frustrating that I missed these temps which *could* be crucial! Grrrr...
