Sorry to be redundant or clueless here.
But I had a major temp drop today. I am sick and had a low grade fever yesterday and the day before, so I'm not sure how big the dip is since my past few temps have not been reliable.
I'm pretty sure AF is on the way because my skin is breaking out and I'm mildly crampy. I just have no idea how much it usually drops before AF shows.
Thanks.

No one? Ok, well, I'll go with "it can take a few days for AF to show after a temp drop" since she hasn't showed yet today.

I don't know, I'm sorry! I hope someone who knows more can answer
I do know that a couple of ladies here got what they call an implantation dip in their temps right before a BFP though, so I don't think you should count yourself out yet
Implantation dip

Okay, to be honest, my first thought when I saw your chart (the temp drop) was EEK! AF is sooooooo coming! That is a big drop. I don't think it's too common to have an implant dip at 11dpo, so I don't think it's that. If she didn't show today, likely tomorrow. I'm sorry.

^^ It's fine, I'm not looking for false hope or anything. My question was out of genuine curiosity. This is my first month charting so I have no idea what anything means. I know a drop in temps means AF is coming, but I don't know how soon after the drop you should expect it. The same day? The next day? The next few days? I guess I'll find out here shortly.

For me, and quite often in other women, it's the same day as the temp drop. Most times, though, when it doesn't happen THAT day, it's the day after. I would expect her tomorrow then.

Effervescence, that was more a response to the other poster. Thank you for responding with info, it was very sweet. I wasn't implying that YOU were giving me false hope, but that morebluethanpink felt like she had to break the news.

No, I actually didn't see your response before I wrote that about the false hope, so I didn't think that at all. when I saw what she had written, I felt bad for saying hang in there LOL It is what I would have told myself, I really am a false hope keeper

For me, my temp drops a little the day before (and I start spotting), then the rest of the way down the first day of AF.

One question, have you been taking any kind of a fever reducer since you are sick? And you temps are still a bit higher than your cover line. I am not convinced that you are out but I always hold out hope.

I've been taking Ibuprofen about only once a day before bed for a terrible headache.

It could be the medicine reducing your temp a little. When are you going to test?

Well I tested today with an internet cheapy and it was negative so I'll probably wait until CD 14 if my temps are still up. But I figure I would have gotten a positive at 12 DPO with the test I used, even if it was cheap, so I'm not terribly hopeful. It would have been nice to have caught that egg on the first real try though. If nothing else, I am completely amazed that 12 DPO have come and gone without AF, considering how much my son has been nursing now with his molars cutting through.

You are not "definitely out" but seeing a temp drop close to when AF should arrive is not usually a good sign. However, I have seen temp drops that go back up. They are usually around 10-11 dpo though.
I am still cheering you on though because as they say it ain't over till the AF lady shows!

12 days of LP is great with you still breastfeeding. I don't think I even had 12 not breastfeeding. If you don't catch your egg this month at least you will know that your body is ready for implantation.

Thanks guys. I tested this afternoon with an IC but it was negative. I'll use a FRER on Sunday if AF isn't here today or Saturday. I wonder if FF messed up my O date since my LP seems so unusually long.
