I would love to see some more bfps! I think I have a few days before I can test. I am slightly anxious about it but trying not to think about it.

I'm not going to test until I have 18 days of higher temps (I won't I won't, I tell myself!!) since I haven't ovulated yet, I am far from that.... it'll be at least three weeks before I test, IF I test

Wellllll... dpo-wise, I'm at a testing point, BUT my temps are dropping so I've not felt the urge to do it.
However, that said, I usually spot for two days before af (very very little, and internally only - I notice it when I'm checking cm and it will literally only be at my cervix opening).
It's just gone 4.30pm (and I bd after lunch and the, uh, aggrevation normally sets things off too) and no sign of it yet. So, that's a positive sign... Eh, if I don't spot tomorrow I'll test monday but I'm not hopeful at all because of my temps.
You know what else? Where we have had SOOOOO many bfps (and I couldn't be happier for our girlies that got them!) I think we've used our quota for a little while - I can't possibly get a bfp too! Just imagine if we're ALL pregnant... this board is gonna be like a ghost town!

You are so funny! I would rather have a ghost town than no bfps though. The bfps are a sign that charting works!!!
I hope yours comes soon!

I honestly think that charting will help. I have been going to buy a test if AF even looks like she's going to be late. But I think if my temps continue to be high, that will be enough confirmation to not test yet.

You have a point there Jess. I didn't feel the urge to test because my temps were slowly dropping toward the coverline... of course, they surprised me this morning with another little upturn. Tomorrows temp will be quite telling!
Oh, and this was odd. I went out last night and obviously as I was in the tww I decided not to drink. I was with my sister though and she was determined to get *some* alcohol in me and bought a bottle of champagne knowing it's my tipple of choice...
First mouthful I gagged. I don't know whether it's because I know I'm in the tww so psychologically I felt I shouldn't be drinking it. Anyway, I finished the flute eventually but my sis could see I wasn't enjoying it at all so bought me some orange juice to make the next one a bucks fizz (hmm, I think americans call it a mimosa, actually) so it was less than half a flute. After that I felt... weird. Almost a cross between drunk (impossible! I usually drink a whole bottle and am less than 'drunk') and hungover. Didn't drink anymore alcohol after that (was out until 2am but yawning like an old lady for the last hour or so)- it was painful to watch my sister down my favourite drink that she'd bought specifically for me! Woe!
Still I won't be feeling so sorry for myself if it turns out my stomach was turned because of a brewing bfp

Thinking about getting a couple of tests from the dollar store. My cycle is stretching longer than normal (but not longer than last month) and I need info!
Amanda my sister did the same thing to me: Insisting I drink with her while I was in 2ww. Only she wanted to do shots--your sis sounds a bit more sensible Fingers crossed for a temp hoist tomorrow!

That makes sense. I still get the urge to test every month whether my chart looks stinky or great (actually it never really looks great).

I am the same way as you during the 2ww. I try to avoid alcohol. I don't have any temptress sisters though. My sis and I don't see each other often and when we do we usually are watching too many kids to even think about drinking (We have ten kids between the two of us.)
I do drink sometimes in the 2ww but I try to limit it to one drink. Sometimes I will have two but I try to wait an hour or two before having a second.

Amanda, I think your chart looks pretty good this month, and if you don't count that high open temp then it doesn't look like you dipped too much. You never know. And Patty you are right about it being a ghost town and a good thing although I haven't left yet.
