So what happens with your BBT..? Does it go slightly up or down when you are about to O or what?? I'm gonna go get a thermometer today and want to make sure I read everything right. I also have a chart at fertility friend to help. Anyone have info for me, the newbie! Thank you!!

Is temp supposed to drop slightly just before O??

Some women experience a drop in temp the day before or on O day, but not everyone. Once you see your temp go up, you can be pretty darn sure you've O'ed.

Really bbt charting is used more to confirm when you ovulate rather than predict it. You want to use fertile signs like cervical mucous and ovulation pain to help you predict when you might ovulate and then use your chart to confirm that it has actually taken place.
