So this month is looking good I think.

1. SUPER dark OPK
2. EWCM for the 1st time in FOREVER (thanks to Robitussin)
3. Excellent BD timing
4. HUGE temp spike day after O

I think this might be the best lookin' chart I've had so far!!

Robitussin helps to thin out mucus. Just like when you have a cold/cough... you take cough medicine to break up the mucus so that you can get it out. Well, Robitussin doesn't care whether the mucus is in your lungs or in your... ahem... nether regions. It still breaks up the mucus. It's been found to be helpful in regards to TTC for women who do not produce Egg White Cervical Mucus or EWCM, naturally.

I had read about it but hadn't tried it until this month. I was taking Evening Primrose Oil, which is also said to help women create EWCM. I stopped using it because it can cause uterine contractions... and we think we had a very early chemical pregnancy in April, so I just wasn't comfortable taking something that can cause contractions, even though you stop taking it after you O... and I wasn't seeing any results anyway.

A few of the girls recommended that I try the Robitussin and see how that went. A few others said they tried it and it didn't do anything for them. I decided to give it a shot and I'm really glad I did... because I only started taking it on CD 9 and I had EWCM by CD 14. That was the only change I made to my monthly regimen... so it seems pretty clear to me.

Great info. I usually use Preseed but have used Robitussin before.

We used Pre-Seed last cycle too and at the earlier stages of this cycle... but when I saw I had EWCM, I think we only used a tiny bit... just to... "ease his passage", shall we say? HA!!

(Scraping all the dust into a pile around me) Muahahahahaaa!!!! LOL!!

I will gladly share some of my dust with ya!!

You are at the right time to start taking Robitussin if you decide to try it. I started taking it on CD 9 this cycle and had EWCM within a few days.

Yep... you gotta love all the fertility stuff you learn. Again... I would've been much happier if they had spent Health class talking about this instead of how to wear a maxi pad and how to put a condom on a banana!! HA!

Yay for TONS of EWCM!! Sounds to me like things are headed back to normal for you... or possibly better than normal if you're getting more than you normally get.

Sending tons of your way!!!
