By First Response®, I am due to O from Monday July 6th to Friday July 10th. By FF, my forecasted fertile days are July 2nd-July 4th and my forecasted O is from July 5th to July 9th. My question is this...will we miss my O? I will be on vacation in Florida from July 1st to July 5th. My husband can't go with us to Florida because he couldn't get off of work, and my mom paid for our hotel room in advance...so I have to take the kids and go. I don't want to miss my O! Do you think I will!!! If we BD on the 1st before I leave and then start BD'ing as soon as I get home on the 5th..do you think I will miss it???

I hope you don't, I would BD before you leave and as soon as you get home to give as much a chance as possible to catch that egg. I know it sounds crazy but don't you sometimes wish you could package up their swimmers and take them with you?? LOL

Well... from the dates you've given, I won't lie... you're cutting it close.

BD'ing before can't hurt... but honestly, chances are... if you O on the 5th and BD on the 1st, those swimmers will have "passed on" by then. Don't get me wrong... I'd still BD before you go!! BD'ing as soon as you get home would be imperative and keep at it until your temp rises.

Make sure you take your thermometer! That way you will know if you O while you are away.

Good Luck!!

I agree you are cutting it close but you ovulated very late on your last cycle so you may ovulate late this time too. I would try to temp while you are there so you can tell if you miss your o date or not. You may be okay if you have a long cycle like you did last month. I agree on the bding before you go.
