What do you call your mom? What about dad?
How about your kids if you have them what do they call you? If you don't have them yet what do you think they will call you?

I call my parents "mom" and "dad". My children call me "mom" or "mommy" or even "mama"...it depends on their little moods I guess.

I call my mom "ma".
I call my dad "dad".
I don't care what my kids call me as long as I have one to call me something!

Before my sister and I had kids, we called our mom "Mom." Now we call her Gigi, because that is what the kids call her. My dad.... well that is really super complicated. I used to call him Daddy. Even as a grown up, he was Daddy. We've run into some really complicated things with him, and I really (as much as I don't WANT to feel this way) feel that I've lost Daddy. Now he is either just Dad (I honestly kind of cringe when I call him that, as well) or Papaw, which is what the kids call him.
Jonah calls me Mummmmm LOL or sometimes Momom, which sounds a lot like the French Maman so I like it when he says that. He calls Daddy Dadada. Not sure where he got all of the syllables from. I call myself Mama or Mommy to him, usually mama though, and Daryl is always Daddy.

I can relate with you gals. I call my mom, mom. My kids call me mom, mama and mommy. I like mama a lot though. It sounds more affectionate to me. I call my dad, dad. When I lived in North Carolina everyone called their mom, mama and their dad, daddy. And, it was never my mom or my dad it was always just mama or daddy.
I was raised by my dad and when he married my step mom we always called her mom. Then we would call our biological mom, our "real mom." Now that I am older I don't have that strong of a relationship with my step mom so I usually refer to her as my step mom when I discuss her but I still call her mom. I don't call my mom my "real mom" anymore either. She is just mom.

When I was younger, I called my mom mama and mommy, and now that I'm older I always still call her mommy. LoL. Since I'll probably refer to myself as "mommy" more than anything else with my future children, they will most likely call me that.

My mom is Mom or Mommy, even though I'm nearly 30! Lol! Dad passed away, but it was weird. I met him for the first time in my life when I was 24 and pregnant with #2!! So, I tried to call him by his name, Lewis. He wouldn't hear it and told me to call him Dad. Lol! I loved him so much and was so happy to have him while I did, I actually called him Daddy a lot. He was really sick the whole time I knew him with cancer. He was happy to have me in his life and it made him smile when I referred to him so affectionately. He died in Oct 2005.
My girls call me Mom and Mommy (usually that).
