Less LH on OPK but closer to O??

You guys! The other day I took an OPK and there was a light line, easy to see, but def not super dark, like O. So, I took one today and there's like NO line. I'm supposed to have O on the 5th. Should I be concerned or is that normal and I am stressing for no reason?

If I remember correctly, you just came of bcp, right? Your cycles can be soooo messed up after that, and no one can really predict when O will happen, so you might not be as close as you think you are. Sorry. *ducking for cover!*

Also, I know that sometimes my opk's get lighter right before they're positive. Can't explain it, but that's what seems to happen... (for me)

I'm in the same boat! Just off BCP in April and things are very wacky... wish I would have gone off it a long time ago

Ditto. If your opks are getting lighter it doesn't really matter when you are "supposed to ovulate." Once you start charting a while you will see that you don't usually ovulate on exactly the same day each cycle anyway. I would get some more opks and maybe just test every other day until you start seeing the line get a little darker.

Hang in there. BCP can make your cycles wacky for a bit but you will eventually get back to normal.

How often do you test? This is my first month really using them so I bought internet cheapies and I'm using them like crazy till I learn. I got only 1 line for about 7 days, I mean there was absolutely nothing on the other side. Then I got a really faint line... the next morning I got another faint line and decided to test again in the afternoon and it come out positive!

So I tested again in the evening, still positive. I tested today and it still looked positive BUT compared to the 3 from yesterday, it's a touch lighter.

So, maybe when you get a faint line try more than one test a day? I find it so tough no knowing what's going on, and if the right things are going on... so this month I was determined to find out! lol

Thank guys! I'm testing once a day. Actually, about to go test right now. My pee is cooling down! HAHA! My poor husband! LOL! Maybe if there's a line, I'll test later cause I'm "supposed" to be Oing today or tomorrow. We've BD's twice (yesterday) just in case. Wish us luck!!!

Good luck! Keep us posted when you test later on what happens! I tested again 4 hours later just to see and still positive! I want to test a few times a day till it goes negative.

Hopefully you get your positives on both tests this month!

Woohoo! I'm excited! It's not all the way dark, but the darkest it's been so far! I'll test again tonight and tomorrow!! I hope, hope, hope it's really dark later!!!!

Here is a pic of mine and my last test came out even darker... so like I said, no visible test line, one faint line Friday, one faint line Saturday late morning, then Saturday afternoon positive! Really went from 0 to 100% in a matter of a day, didn't take a week of fading in or anything...
