Does a good temp dip mean that you are about to O or that you are O'ing? I had a dip on Sunday and then Monday and Tuesday my temp went up. Don't know for sure if O occured, tomorrow's temp will tell more, but on the day of the dip, ( if I did in fact O) did that mean that I was O'ing then or that an O was about to occur?

I'm wondering the same thing! Yesterday my temp was at its lowest so far this cycle (97.3) and today it was 98.0! But today I've been having tons of EWCM and creamy/watery CM, so I'm not sure if I already O'ed or am about to O.

I was only charting for one cycle but the day your temp drops is suppose to be the day you actually ovulate I believe. Your last two days temps are a good sign so far that you O on the 5th but tomorrows temp will tell you more GL hun!

My cervix has dropped, so I'm pretty sure I O'd. I'm guessing it was the day of the lowest temp, so Sunday. I didn't bed before Sunday, so I hope I didn't miss it!

It's not really a temp drop that tells you that you O'd. It's the drastic temp rise which actually comes the day after you O (most useful simply for confirmation of Oing), but sometimes you might experience a temp drop the day that you O (ie, the day before the temp rise). It's not always a drastic temp drop, though. My last cycle, I only had a minor temp drop (it was actually the same as 4 previous temps).

Kody - I'm guessing you O'd either on CD 16 or CD17 (not sure if the slight rise on CD16 is high enough to be counted as the post-O rise or not). Either way, I think you got it covered with your BDing.

If you are still seeing EWCM you probably haven't ovulated yet. A temp dip *can* mean that ovulation is approaching but not always. Some gals will see a temp dip a day or two before they ovulate. I usually see a temp dip on my chart but often it is several days before I actually ovulate.

To confirm that you have ovulated you want to see four days of CM being dry. If you are still having EWCM you probably haven't o'd yet. I would keep bding!
