I knew about O pains and CM but I never get EWCM so I could never go by that. Sometimes I get what I am pretty sure are O pains in the middle of my cycle. I have a pretty regular 28-30 day cycle so I just blocked off a week in the middle and figured I would O sometime in that time frame.

I knew that cm picked up and I knew about O pains but that was about it. I really didn't have a clue when I was ovulating. I thought I did but I was going by the calendar method and now I realize that the calendar just isn't a good way to predict ovulation.

I think I knew about O pains... but I never really paid much attention to CM, how it changed throughout the month or why.

Actually, the only way I really knew to BD while TTC was to watch for a large amount of CM in my undies. When I saw that, I BD'd. I always got pregnant right off the bat to. This time around, I have been trying other methods, like checking CM inside, my cervix, using OPK's, and temping. If I end up not getting preggo this 4th cycle, I may only temp and go back to my old ways!

I was totally clueless lol. I remember being mad at my mother, because she knew about it the whole time and kept me in the dark. (she used charting as her only form of BC) I always thought there was something wrong with me... with stuff coming out of me. I had no idea there was a purpose for cm lol.

I had noticed on my own that my cm changed throughout my cycle, but didn't really find out that certain kinds meant I was fertile. I first found out about temping a few years ago when a friend of mine started doing it (sadly, they're having infertility issues and she still isn't pregnant).
