I had my IUD taken out in March and didn't tell anybody. My husband and I chose to keep our TTC journey a secret, after all it's our life and our private business. Plus, I have three children, and in some people's opinions, having more children isn't practical in today's world...hence we are always being told by family (aka..husband's family) that we need to keep using protection so we don't get pregnant again. However, we want another baby, and now that I have been TTC for 4 months, I decided to tell my mom that I had my IUD removed. I didn't come out and say, "We are TTC." but I did say I chose to have it removed. Her response was... "Kody..I have always said you need to have four children. Plus, Leyton needs a baby brother!" That was nice..to hear that somebody in our families support us and aren't going to judge us. Now that I know how my mom feels, sooner or later we have to tell my MIL...or...maybe I'll just tell her if I ever get pregnant again! Ha ha ha!

Im glad your mom is suporting the decision you and your husband made....i would probably choose to tell your MIL in a couple months or when your pregnant. But that is just me

My MIL is one of those people who is very critical and will, in all honesty, ruin my happiness just because she can. I think I will wait to tell her!
