Hey ladies,
Just wanted to ask what you guys take, I think it was B6 to lengthen your lp? Is this right? Mine this past month was 8 days. I just got my af last night and want to try to extend it a little this month. I happen to have a doctors apt tomorrow morning cause my cycles are all messed up-and O'ing really late. Please help!

It is vitamin b6. Just make sure to also increase all your other b vitamins with it. And not to go over 100mg per day in supplement form.

If you are going to your doctor tomorrow I would talk to him about that. I think B6 does help but not sure how much. I also have heard Vitex can help with your cycles but I haven't personally used it. I would talk to your doc though because if he has a course of treatment planned for you some natural meds counteract fertility treatments. I would just see what he thinks before you do anything.

I had some jacked up LP's... 5 days... 7 days. Not good.

So I started taking B-6 and my LP's are now anywhere from 12-13 days. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Isn't B6 in prenatals? Do you have to take extra?

It is in prenatals... but often the amount is not sufficient for lengthening the LP.

For example... my prenatals only contain 4 mg of B-6. If you have LP issues, you need much more than that.

Yup, 100 mg B6! I took it a few months before I got my PP AF. My first cycle was 41 days, and I got pregnant my next. I'm still nursing and short LPs are common in BFing moms. The B6 must have worked because I got knocked up! Highly recommend it.
