I get so excited right after AF ends and ever month I get it in my head that this is the month I ovulate early. Sometimes I do but sometimes I o pretty late. I hate it. I have been wanting to bd all the time but I don't want dh to fizzle out on me. LOL. We bd'd twice yesterday and I could go again today but since I had a negative opk maybe I should save my energy. I don't know I just like to bd when me or dh is in the mood even if it doesn't get us pregnant. LOL.

But I wish my burst of bding energy would come more at the right times. LOL

If I could show you my chart (need 10 posts first) I'd show you that dh and I bd'd every day for a good 8 days before ovulation. Sometimes twice. We were on vacation though but still. I thought for sure he'd fizzle out on me but he didn't. I've also read a lot on the studies of sperm quality and quantity of frequent bd'ing and from what I've read it's not as much of a concern as one might think.

I say bd all you want! When you are trying and finally ovulating you'll find the stamina.

Hey Carmona! Welcome to the board. Can't wait till I can stalk your chart.

I have read the same studies. I am not at all worried about dh's sperm count or quality. We have four kids so he obviously has plenty. LOL. I mostly worry about his energy and interest fizzling out (or mine). Lately we have both been wanting to bd a lot so hopefully it will stay that way. LOL.

You make me feel better hearing that dh and you went eight days in a row. Our record is seven. LOL. I don't know about way back when before we were bding for baby making. We probably bd'd a lot more back then. LOL.

Here's a secret: My husband can have ed issues... This cycle we found Maca (Maca Man by GNC) and holey cow.. good stuff. I thought we'd be lucky to bd once or twice during my fertile time. Maca kept him going and going.. lol. Reeeallly good stuff.

Edited: I just relooked at my chart and we went 10 days in a row. The 8 days was just leading up to O. Then we kept going. Heh.

LOL something like that. Maca root is actually good for both male and female fertility. It helps regulate the hormones, which is what we think my dh has a problem with.

OMG! Maybe I can sneak some of that into DH's dinner... I'm usually the one chasing him around the house.

LOL I know the feeling. And yes, I jump the gun too. I just get so excited that AF is finally done that I want to BD like there's no tomorrow. I've been having really short cycles though, so hey maybe it's not jumping the gun at all.
