So, I had the OPK from yesterday morning (9am), that at the time, looked positive. I took another at 1:30p and it's clearly negative and so was the 7pm one I took. When I go back to look at the OPK from yesterday morning, after it dried, the line is significantly lighter. My temp is holding much in the same spot and not changing much. Is it normal to have only one + opk and then hours before/after have negatives? It's crazy to me especially since it was with FMU.

With opks, I believe you are not supposed to use FMU, it's better if you test later in the day. Not sure why it was positive and then negative though, maybe some other ladies will have a better answer

That's why it surprised me that the only + one was with FMU.

I don't think your first opk was positive. I tend to have darker lines when I test with first morning urine or early in the day. This is why I try to wait until 10ish (for me that is not early in the day because I get up super early) and then take another one at 4 or 5 pm. I think you probably did not have a positive. I would keep testing because I bet you will get a positive soon. It is kind of confusing when you first start using them.
