So my opks are probably coming in today and I have ordered 20. My last cycle I ovulated on day 31. Currently I'm on day 8 of my cycle. When do you think I should start testing opks? Should I do it once or twice a day? Thanks

Is your last cycle typical? Are you fairly regular or not?

I am regular to the hour every 27 days, so I counted 14 days back from my next expected period on July 24 which landed on July 11. So, I tested on the 7th and got a thin pink line, tested on 8th and received two dark pink identical lines. I bedded on the 9th - 12th. I tested around 2pm.

I would have preferred bedding on the 8th, but it was impossible.

However, I don't know a quick way to determine ovulation if you are not regular.

yeah, my last cycle is pretty typical but I can't say for sure, it may vary by a few days. I know that I never have 28 day cycles, they are always longer, but I wouldn't say they are longer than 2 months. I never paid too much attention to know for sure
