For moms with kids, do your kids ever steal your thermometer?

Mine used to do this to me all the time. They thought it was a toy or wanted to take their temp just because. It used to drive me nuts. That is why I always used to keep two thermometers but now that I have been doing this a while the novelty of the thermometer has worn off and they leave it alone.

My "furbabies", well actually just Zoey has tried on numerous attempts to eat my thermometer, she was sucussful in eating the display on one occasion.

Oh my! I think that might be worse. My critters have left my thermometer alone thankfully.

It's funny... Helo (my 12 week old kitten) has become fascinated with my BBT. He keeps climbing on the nightstand and knocking it off. He already made me lose the lid for the case it goes in. Then this morning DH told me that he took off with my saliva microscope and that he was able to find the top and the bottom with the light, but he couldn't find the lens. I was like "That's the MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! Maybe he's trying to let me know I won't need it anymore!"

Luckily, I found it on the floor. Little scamp!!

Um YES! He steals it every single morning.. and then tries to stick it in my mouth (which is pretty funny). Then he grabs it back and runs full speed down the hall beeping it on and off.

I'm hoping the novelty runs out.. because I don't like chasing him at 6am. Way to early to be running
