I think I'm obsessing much more because of this looming deadline on Monday. If I'm pg, I cannot have the surgery on my wrist on Monday. I don't want to show up just for them to send me home and me have to go back to work! Ugh!
So my two questions:
What does your temp normally do before AF comes?
I don't really understand LP. According to last cycle, my LP was 13 days. That would be tomorrow, but I usually have pretty regular cycles (at least regular enough that I don't notice a big difference in # of days of cycle. But if my LP this phase is only 13 days, this would be a 24 day cycle, which is a significantly shorter than the 27-30 day cycles I've had since I quit BF Dean. But I heard that LPs don't really vary too much. me =

I might have missed it in a previous post, but how come your temp on CD13 is discarded?

Before AF, my temp usually either starts dropping the day before or it plummets the day of AF.
LPs don't really vary much. If you did O early, you may get AF on Saturday if you are not pregnant, giving you a 13 day LP. However, why did you discard CD13? That looks like a possible O date to me so if you O'd on CD 13, you'd be due for AF on Tuesday (which could also be why you got a BFN today - too early).

Ummmm..... well I discarded that temp because I didn't sleep more than 1 hr increments all night - I was up with the boys all night. I guess it could be that I ovulated later....that would make my BFNs a little easier to take!!

I was wondering about a dif O date as well, but I think there was discussion on the boards somewhere else about CM and temps giving dif O dates for this chart? Was that about your chart Christine?

I don't think that was mine Tammy!
Well, I undiscarded my temp and now it gave me dotted CHs on CD13. WDYT? Which do you think is right? the solid line CHs on CD11 or dotted on CD13?

I'm leaning towards CD 13 but I'm certainly no expert. But, that probably doesn't help you with your surgery question

Did you change your chart since you posted this. Your chart says 10dpo now which would make AF not due for a few days?

I am leaning towards CD13 too. I think if you didn't have the open circle it would be easier to say.
I would just take a pregnancy test before your surgery and see what happens. Not much else you can do. Ya know.

Patty - I changed my temp on CD13 from "Discarded" to not.
The only concern with taking the urine test on the day of the surgery is if it hasn't shown + yet (but I was pregnant) the anesthesia from the surgery could be harmful.
How early would it take for a blood test to be positive?

Christine - I actually think that you really are 10DPO. The dotted lines appear because your CM doesn't match fertile CM on the O date but that happens to me all the time. For example, if I really am Oing today (please Lord, let me finally O and have this nutty cycle on its way to an LP), I already have creamy CM. I often get nonfertile CM the day that I O - my best fertile CM is always the day before I O.

Do you think I really ovulated on CD13 even though I got a - OPK that day? That was the first day I used the OPKs, so I don't have any data before that...

If you did O on CD 13, your + OPKs would have most likely been on CD 11 and 12 so you wouldn't have caught the surge on the stick.

Exactly. You don't get your surge on the day you ovulate. You get it a day or two before you ovulate so you shouldn't have seen a positive on CD13.
I think by Monday you should be able to get a positive on a home test. The blood tests really aren't a whole lot more sensitive than the home tests these days. They used to be but now the home tests are really sensitive. You should be 14 dpo on Monday so I think you'd get a positive if you were pregnant. Even if your o date was off a couple days and you were only 12 dpo I still think you'd get a positive on Monday. If you are really worried ask the anesthesiologist.
