Got a blood test done yesterday....UPDATED

Well I called my OB's office yesterday afternoon to ask their advice. They immediately told me to come in and get a quantitative blood test done. They said it takes 24 hrs to get the results back, so I will know this afternoon either way. I'd be fine waiting if I didn't have this stupid surgery scheduled on Monday.

UPDATE --> They just called me. Test was Negative!! HCG was 0, which at 10 DPO, is a true BFN! I'm disappointed (probably more b/c I don't know if I really want the surgery). Oh well... there's always next cycle.

TBH, it's actually better this way. Now I can drink at my SIL's wedding in 2 weeks!!

Yeah - I told them I was DPO, so it would probably be too early for an HPT if I were pg. So she told me they would tell me the exact # of my HCG.

I'm sorry Christine! Even when it isn't good timing, I understand the desire to be pregnant. That is how it would be for me this cycle - not great timing but I still want it.

Thanks!!! TBH, before we started actually TTC I was hoping more for next cycle. But once we got started, I didn't care when, I just wanted it. If we don't get pg in the next 2 cycles, we'll be stopping TTC for at least a year.
