I just noticed you were running a half marathon soon. My sister is running her first marathon in August. I think you guys rock! I am an unmotivated sloth and would never be able to purposely make myself run that kind of mileage.

Good luck on your race!!! If you need some cheer leading or pep talks let me know. I am very good at them. I pep talk my sister daily on her training. LOL.

Thanks!!! I've actually never been a runner before and I can't say I am one yet, but I desperately wanted some way to lose the baby weight from Dean, since I still have 18lbs to lose. So, my BFF and I decided to run a half in March, but being 7 months PP, I just couldn't do it. So we delayed it to September.

I'm not sure how this will change if I am preggo, but I'll wait until it happens to worry about that! I may just do the 10k instead of the 1/2

I think if you are used to running you will probably be fine but you may just want to ask your doc.

Ooh - you will LOVE it Christine. I've run 4 marathons and countless half marathons and I've loved them all. I think they are very addicting!!

You know it's kinda funny - I used to hate running... and then I didn't get to run Mon-Wed becasue my ILs were here and I was too tired after work to fight to leave, and I actually missed it!!! It's crazy!!

My guess is based on my history, my doc will make me stop running at 12 weeks.
