Do most women's temp drop right before they O? I am new to this and I have looked/stalked other charts, and that seems to be what happens. Could anyone look at my chart and tell me what you think is going on? I realize I am only on CD9, so its still early. This is also my first cycle off of bcp in 5 years. Pre-bcp, I had a regular 28-30 day cycle. Thanks!!!

First of all, glad you stopped by! I hope you will pop in more often. I like stalking charts!!!

Yes most women's temps drop before they ovulate. I think your temps will start getting lower soon. Stick around and we will help you sort out your o date. Your chart might be a little wacky this cycle since you just went off the pill. You may end up ovulating later in your cycle or not at all for your first cycle but then it should get better. Most gals start ovulating again really quickly after going off the pill. Were your cycles pretty regular before you started taking it?

Also, I noticed you were in Winder, GA. I used to live in GA, about an hour from you. Do you have a Kmart near you? I think I worked in it when they were remodeling them all into BigKs. I did a lot of traveling for Kmart back then.

Hey Patty,

Thanks for the advice and welcome! My cycles were very regular pre-bcp, maybe a day or so off. Stress and everything really affected when my cycle would start, but like I said not by much.
There is a KMart in Buford, I think that's the closest one? I dont shop there much because when they filed bankruptcy and closed a bunch of stores, there wasn't too many options for KMarts.
Another piece of info is I do not use a BBT, I am going to try and get one for next cycle. AF came almost a week early (since I stopped the pack early), so all I had was a digital. FF says digitals are OK to use, but I would like to get a BBT for next cycle. Also, OPKs isnt something I will do for a few cycles because DH doesn't want me too (we are Christians and he really wants us to put more faith in God, which I am all for...I am just an anal, control freak! ).
Again, thanks for the help!!!

I knew that is why it sounded familiar. I used to work in Buford. I was a manager there for a while. Don't worry about hurting my feelings about Kmart. There's a reason I don't work there anymore. LOL.

I think using a bbt would be great. I think it is great that you are putting faith in God. I admit I have done a lot of praying this cycle but I don't see a conflict in using OPKs either. I am a little confused as to why he would be okay with using birth control pills but not opks. Seems to me the bcps would be more of a conflict. Or is it just that he wants to take a more natural/relaxed approach?

I understand what you mean, with the bcp. It's not that he is against OPKs, he just wants to see how things go. I know if we dont get pregnant after a few cycles, then he will be OK with using OPKs. He is convinced we will get pg after the first month, which COULD happen, but not likely.

It could definitely happen! You guys look like a young fertile couple to me.

Lots of baby dust for you!
