I know if implantation has happened, you might have some spotting. In my past 2 pregnancies, I didn't have that. How do you know if implantation has happened? Can you tell by your chart? If so, can you guys check mine.

Some women get bleeding from the bean burrowing into the uterine lining.

Some women see an Implantation Dip in their temps during the middle part of their luteal phase. The rule of thumb is generally between 6-12 DPO... although I saw a chart the other day that had an implantation dip at 4 DPO!

Some women also feel implantation cramping from the bean burrowing into the uterine lining.

Unfortunately, there is no sure fire way to know with 100% certainty when or if implantation has taken place.

Either way... the temp dip you are currently experiencing is in the right time frame for implantation... so it's quite possible that you've got a little bean implanting right now.

Best of luck to you and I hope that helps!!

Nikki had some great advice. Some people believe you will see an implantation dip on your chart when you implant. I don't really subscribe to the implantation dip theory. I think the dip is caused by normal estrogen changes that happen through your cycle but I have seen enough BFP charts with dips in them that I think the dip is a good sign in any case.

I don't think you can really know for sure when implantation takes place unless you had a doc in there with an ultrasound or something. When I have been pregnant before I had really bad implantation cramping so that might be a good indicator that implantation is going on but again it's not for sure.

Whether or not the implant dips actually exist is questionable but in my three of my four pregnancies, I've had implant dips (though I didn't know they were implant dips until I got the BFP). I actually had a drop to below baseline so I'm hoping my temp jumps up tomorrow and maybe it is an implant dip? Anyway, my dips always come earlier in the cycle - at 4/5 dpo. Maybe that is why I got a BFP at 9dpo with my daughter. Good luck!
