I had changed my CM on Friday to EWCM instead of Creamy, but I think that's wrong. I changed it back to creamy because I think the past 2 days I have had more watery CM. I have read and looked through different sources about CM, but I want your opinions. I checked this morning (TMI sorry, after a BM) and it was very moist, clear and non-sticky. There were a few blobs of white, but I think it was semen since it basically deteriorated when I touched it. Sorry for all these TMI and CM questions, I just didn't realize how confusing this whole thing could be.

I think it sounds like that might have been semen. It could be creamy cm though. When I notice semen when I wipe it usually absorbs into the TP really quickly. I would probably mark your chart as watery if that is what it feels like. Try not to drive yourself crazy with it. The more you do it the more you will recognize your own patterns. For example, when I first started charting I used to check my CP. I don't usually check it these days. But, I remember thinking my CP was high and I marked it as high because I didn't really have a good perspective. Then later it got so high I couldn't reach and I was like oooh that is what high feels like.

So my point is during your first cycle or two just make your best guess with CM. Ask us if you want but don't worry if you don't get it totally right. Eventually you will start to see a pattern with your CM and it will get easier to tell what is what.

I made lots of mistakes with my CM the first cycle, but now I know the difference. You will know when you get EWCM, because it will be clear and very strong when stretching. It could have some white streaks in it, but it will be mostly clear. Good luck
