Who does better you or dh? If he was a woman do you think he'd be a POASaholic? Now don't just say no. Pretend that he was having to wait for something HE wanted. How long does he wait? Does he have to go and buy it right when he wants it?

It's funny... just yesterday he and I were discussing POAS while we were walking the dog. He was telling me that he thinks my temps are like a test, if they stay high... well, there you go. Blah blah blah.

The funny thing is... he is soooo impatient with things sometimes. Like, if we talk on the phone while he is at work and says he has to go to a meeting or something and I say "Oh ok... well remind me when you get home I want to tell you something." He is like a 5 year old "What is it? Just tell me what it is? C'mon you can tell me now."

He cannot BEAR to wait to find out what it is!!! LOL! So it's funny that he's telling me that since we know when AF is due that I should wait til then to test. If the shoe were on the other foot... I don't think he'd make it! HA HA!!!

Nope. DH is a big "if it's meant to be it will be" type of person so he wouldn't rush out to test. He'd wait for AF to be late. Also, DH is a definite processor. He likes to think things out long and hard before he makes a move (which is infuriating when we're trying to do certain real estate related things).

OMG, this is SOOOO my DH! Now in most aspects, he is a very logical person. In fact we talk about that whenever we are having an argument about something...he's a logical thinker, I'm an emotional thinker. But when it comes to finding something out, he doesn't want to wait. In fact, he doesn't even want me to surprise him with a BFP, he wants to know if I even suspect that I'm pregnant! Needless to say, I'm not telling him every time I think this because as you all know, every month that AF shows you spend at least a week analyzing every single symptom since they run neck and neck in similarities.

DH told me that we should wait to test until AF is late (at this point I will just be happy to O ). Now, this is the same man who just ordered something on the 21st and keeps wanting to know when the item will ship. The company said 7-10 business days, so when I told him the email confirmation said it should ship BY the 31st, he said he is ready for his item to come in. Men are silly!

My DH is sooooo inpatient. He would test asap.. Once he gets an idea of something he wants in his head.. he has to go get it right away. He's very impulsive for the most part. So when I want to test And I'm not letting myself.. I'll ask him if I should and he always tells me to!

LOL this describes DF totally! And it's very infuriating, yes. He would wait until AF is supposed to show up, I'm pretty sure hehe

OK, Nikki and Michelle, I am soooo like your DHs. Impatient, impulsive. If DH even starts to tell me something and then says "nevermind" I MAKE him tell me what he was gonna say, lol!

I am totally a POAS-a-holic. Except last month b/c like someone said, your chart says it all (esp if you aren't preggo and see that drop a few days before AF is due.) Saves me a lot of $$. However, if my temps were still up the day AF was due, I'd probably be running to the store to buy a test.

But no, DH is the opposite. He wouldn't wait forever, but would definitely wait til you are "supposed" to to test etc...

Did you see my icon?? Yeah, I'm not even going to lie, if there is ANYTHING that says "you might be pregnant!" I'm totally running for the bathroom. And I've taken to testing when the DH isn't home because he just doesn't seem to understand how addictive POAS is, so he thinks I'm being a silly girl to test as often as I do. LOL

Don't get me wrong... I'm horrible about surprises and waiting on things too. I'm very instant gratification and I try very hard to work on that, because it can get me into trouble if I'm not careful. LOL!!

Here's the sad part... I'm the patient one (yes, you're talking to the woman who POAS 9DPO & 10DPO, etc). DH is the king of impulse buys/instant gratification. When we were TTC #1 he was always the one asking "did you test?". Every time I'd come out of the bathroom it was "well???". He's not wound up this time... yet.

I find it annoying because my dh is very impatient. I can't ever buy him things for his birthday because he will always go buy whatever it is he is wanting before I get a chance to. So I think if he WAS a woman he would be impatient too but since he isn't a woman the baby thing doesn't affect him the same way. He doesn't like that I test early but I really do think if he were a woman he would be just like me. He is the impatient type.

This is like a weird question I asked.
