Pics of my wedding dress to help make my bad day better! x-posted

So, I'm posting pics of my dress... I'm home sick today with major pains in my lower right side that I can only attribute it to my cysts that came back last night So, I needed a pick me up! The pics aren't the greatest, I can't do it up by myself and left it in the bag to take em, in less than a month will have the best pics to post though

The crazy part about this is that initially it was going to be a beach wedding type dress because we were going to get married at a campground and keep it casual. But, I started looking at dresses and felt the need to be a bit of a princess! Then, there was supposed to be no train, but my designer felt that I would lose too much detail by cutting off the train and she wanted me to have it all so she left it! We're getting married outside in Jasper Alberta on Pyramid Island, look it up if you have the time, it's beautiful! Then, our reception is at the horseriding stables! So, me and all my princess dress and train will be walking around horse stables! lol They did put a bustle on it for me which will help, but I can't wait! I found a tiara and jewelry off ebay and went all out on my garter, I love it so much I don't want to toss it! lol My flowers will be gerbera daisies with reds, oranges, purples, all the deep colors. I've never been so excited for a day to come!!!

Tammy! The dress is beautiful. I hope we get to see plenty of pics of you IN it. BTW I didn't want to throw my garter either, so I bought a cheap one & thew it. I kept the one I actually wore on my wedding day (almost 6 years ago

It's lovely. You will have such a wonderful day in it! I adore my wedding dress. I want to wear it again but only if I get to renew vows with DH. I don't want a new DH! Mine is boxed/preserved. Maybe one of my sisters will wear it? We just took my grandmother's dress (also worn by one of my favorite aunts) and had it cut into a new family christening gown since the one that my great grandmother made (that was worn by my mom and all their siblings) had its last hurrah on Lauren.

Your dress is GORGEOUS!!! And speaking of not wanting to throw your garter, if you haven't already, order a cheapy bouquet to throw as well. My friend made the mistake of not ordering a second one and ended up having to throw the one she actually carried down the aisle.

I can't wait to see pictures of you wearing the dress! Congratulations!
