Or do you care. Is your OBGYN a male or female?

I prefer female doctors. I don't have an OBGYN yet but I'd like it to be a female

I have only seen a female, I dont think I would feel comfortable with a male. I guess I have a very naive perspective when it comes to men and women OBGYNs.

It really doesn't matter to me. My current and previous OB/GYN have been male, for some reason I feel more comfortable talking with men than I do women.

I don't like doctors at all, I'll be using a midwife and probably having a home birth. I already know her, she has been helping me with my hormone imbalance issues and is wonderful.

I love my OB and it's a male. Actually both the OBs I like are male. I don't care as much gender as how I feel they take care of me.

My last office had 5 doctors. 2 males and 3 females. I actually preferred one of the males and he's the one that delivered my first child. This time.. I'll be open to either. I haven't found a doctor yet.

Females, I could never go into my doc and ask HIM to look at my cysts downstairs like I had to do yesterday

I didn't think I cared until I had a male doctor. It was just awkward for me. Then again, I work at the hospital so it was really just weird when I went back to work and ended up making him a coffee. It was like "oh hi, you just saw me naked, here let me make you a latte."

I still see him as my primary care doctor, but I'm starting to see a female ob/gyn at the women's health clinich anyway. My dr refered me to her so it's all gravy. No more embarassing moments for me hopefully.

Edit: I just wanted to mention that my dr was very nice when he stopped by the coffee shop. He just pretended like he didn't know me. (and yes that was nice) It was just that first initial "Oh hey... uh" and then I looked away. I think he saw me blush and spared the small talk. LOL
