New around here.. can I join in??

Hi! My name is Brooke. DH and I are TTC #2. DD Natalie just turned 1 in June. We have been trying since March and I finally started to officially temp in May. I did chart with DD but have not had as much luck this time around. My body is still not back to normal since I've had DD since I breast fed until she was 1. I'm really hoping for AF to show up soon. I have a RX for Provera but really hate to take it if AF will be here soon. What do you girls think??

Congrats on TTC#2! It looks to me like you did recently O so you can either test in another week or you should expect AF in another week. I hope your stay here is a short one!!

Jump on in. Looking at your chart, I'd say you ovulated already and AF should be coming soon if you're not PG already!

Thanks for the well wishes! I'm hoping that I ovulated too. I had CH's once before and they went away. The only problem is that DH and I were using protection when I ovulated, which I'm so mad about, because my DR told me to so that I could get started on these meds. Wouldn't you know that I ovulated right after my blood test and right before I got my meds. I was just trying to wait it out a bit before I started taking them, although DH is telling me to just go ahead and take them, lol.

I don't think you need anything to take anything. I think you o'd for sure and you will get a normal AF. I would just wait because it looks like your cycle is getting back on track so why monkey with it. Ya know?

My cycles didn't return at all with my kids until they were a little over a year because of bfing. Have you totally weaned? If you have weaned I bet your cycles will be totally back to normal in a matter of no time. It is great that you are charting because you can tell what is going on.

Thanks for the reassurance Patty! DH just doesn't seem to understand why I want to wait. I think that since I am charting, I do see that AF should be here soon (which I think it could be today or tomorrow). And yes, I have totally weaned, so I imagine that it could be anytime now.

I think that is because guys don't understand how women's bodies work. I think I would stall for a few days and if it doesn't start in a few days take the pills. In the big scheme of life waiting a few days is not really a big deal.
