Does your dh do housework or cooking now? Do you think if you get pregnant he will do more of this?

I dont know if he will help out anymore. He is kind of lazy, well, we both have lazy qualities about us. I am anal, control, clean freak and DH is more relaxed about the cleaning. I think he will do more yardwork for me once I get pg. I say this, but somtimes DH surprises me with his actions (in a good way). So we shall see.

I'm pretty spoiled now, but when I was pg with Natalie he really spoiled me. He already does the cooking and he would always check in with me during the day to see what I wanted or didn't want to eat for dinner. If/when I do get pregnant, I'm sure he'll do that and pitch in a bit more with the cleaning. When I'm back to work, he does help out a lot more around the house.

Hahaha! No way. I love DH but we are both so busy and "spoiling" me during pregnancy just won't (hasn't happened). DH is an Ironman so he is on a tight training schedule all the time (next one in November). He certainly does what he can but for the most part, "spoiling" me while pregnant consists of making sure I'm allowed to get in an hour nap most days. I'll take it!

I really don't know, he was really good to me when he had to take care of me after my surgery. It was interesting to see my brother at his GF beck and call while she was prego.

Wow, an Ironman. DH has done a couple of half ironmans and would love to do a full one sometime. I can't imagine the time that it must take for training. DH said that he would probably do one when our daughter/kids are older since they do take so much time.

I do the cooking and housework, with the exception of the cat box, now. He doesn't let me anywhere near the cat box when he is cleaning it. He does cook and does so very well. I had some health issues in the past, and when I wasn't doing well, he was fantastic. I prefer to do it myself... because I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to the house. LOL!

I'll keep doing it for as long as I can... but when I get to the point where I can't do as much anymore, I know he will totally step in and pick up the slack.

I know that DF will spoil me, because when we both thought that I might have somehow gotten pregnant back in April (because of my 7-10 day late AF due to my ovarian cyst), he was already like, "Should you be doing this when you're pregnant?" (<--referring to lifting heavy objects) and "Is this normal? Are you okay? Let me do that."

I am really hoping my dh spoils me but I am just not setting my expectations too high. He is good to me but I wouldn't say I have ever been spoiled.
