is my lunar phase 13 days or is it 14 days.

the day that i ovulate in which i have my ovulation dip exactly 2 weeks from that day i spot and then full flow starts the next day.

if i have a 13 day lunar phase would that put me at 12 dpo instead of 11 dpo?

here is my chart:

277b11 Ovulation Charts

heres an example:

last month i ovulated on cd 18. ( june 10th )

2 weeks later on ( june 24th i spotted then reg full flow came the next day on june 25th)

does it make it 13 or 14 days for a lunar phase?

thanks

It's called the luteal phase and yes - spotting doesn't really count so by your example, your luteal phase last cycle was 14 days. You O'd on June 10 and got AF on June 25 - 14 days. That is good. Luteal phases should be at least 10 or 11 days long in order to give a fertilized egg a chance!

Okay, you are talking about your "luteal phase." Your luteal phase is usually around 14 days but it doesn't always have to be exactly the same length each cycle but the length of your luteal phase should be pretty similar from cycle to cycle. You count your days past ovulation the same way no matter how long your luteal phase is. Last cycle your period started 15 days after you ovulated. The fifteenth day was actually cycle day one of your next cycle so the last day of your cycle was 14 days past o. That makes your last cycle's luteal phase 14 days.

Your luteal phase may not be 14 days this cycle but it should be pretty close. Most women have a very similar length luteal phase (that is why they call it the two week wait). The follicular phase is what can vary from woman to woman.

Does this make sense? If not I can try to explain it some more. Here is an article on your luteal phase too that you might want to read.
