My AF sometimes starts like this but usually it starts off light. I usually don't get all excited about possible bfps when I have spotting before AF. I have had implantation spotting but I hate having spotting when I am pregnant so I would rather just have AF start. (The gals who have had losses probably understand why I get freaked about spotting.)

No spotting. Go straight into red AF on first day about medium.

I usually have spotting at 12 DPO and AF usually turns up the next day.
