Ok ladies...this is only my second month of charting so I really have no idea as to what I'm looking at when I view my chart on FF. It still has not detected O but I have been having a rough time with my temps (you'll see a few of them missing). Anyway, I was hoping that you wouldn't mind looking at it and giving me some feedback? Did I maybe O and not realize it? Am I a slow riser or does it look like it hasn't happened yet? I'm on day 43 now with no sign of AF and nothing but BFN's so far.

Based on your chart it doesn't look like you have Oed to me. Do you temp at different times?

I temp around the same time each day. I don't get up to an alarm clock but always wake up at the same time each day. Granted, some days I'll wake up a half an hour later or earlier, but it's always less than an hour difference from the previous day. Do you think that little fluctuation would matter much?

It shouldn't. Generally if you temp within an hour of your normal temp time, you won't see a major fluctuation.
I would agree, it doesn't appear as if you have O'd yet to me either. Unfortunately, all I've got go on are your temperatures alone. You haven't documented any of your CM. If you had documented your CM on your chart, we'd be able to see if it looked like your body geared up to O and then didn't for some reason, kwim?

I don't think the half hour fluctuations would make affect your chart that much but since you have a challenging chart to read in the first place I would try to do as much as you can to make it easier to read. I would try to start temping at exactly the same time. I used to temp at different times like that and I could still see when I o'd but my charts are so much easier to read now that I am more consistent with my temp time.
I kind of think you *could* have o'd recently but you have no CM or any other information on your chart. With your cycles being so long and irregular it is even more important that you have as many fertile signs on your chart as possible. Have you noticed any ewcm over the weekend or on Monday & Tuesday? Your chart doesn't show a clear thermal shift but I kind of think you could have ovulated on CD 40.
Please stop back over here with tomorrow's temp so I can take another peek at your chart.

Well, I've tried checking CM but I don't ever have any dry periods, so it's hard to tell. I tend to get the slippery EWCM quite often throughout my cycle, so should I record it each time? Is that ok that I get it more than once? And yes Patty, I noticed on Wed. that it was heavier then and was probably so for the days before. Ok yeah, I definitely need to start recording this no matter what and see what kind of pattern develops.
Btw, I saw the site where the young woman did the photos of her cervix each day throughout her cycle but I'm wondering, do any of you know if there is a site where I can see what CM should look like when you check it yourself? Maybe I'm not realizing the difference without seeing a picture of what is being described.

Yes you should be charting your ewcm every time. I think you probably are having multiple patches of EWCM and that can be normal. Some gals will gear up to ovulate several times before they actually do. Each time you notice what looks like EWCM put it on your chart.
Here is another link with CM pictures (stolen from AIP)
Nfp Software - Cervical Mucus
EWCM is very stretchy and clear. I am getting old so I just don't have as much CM as I used to or I swear I'd take pictures for everyone. I am not modest. (Maybe I will try it this cycle but see it is hard to photograph yourself and I know dh would get all weirded out if I asked him to take pictures of my CM.)
One more thing Can you add the EWCM to your chart for Wednesday? Were you still having ewcm on Thursday and Friday or did you start feeling drier?

Ok, I'm thinking that JM is just good luck! I decided to get some FRER tests because even though my temps aren't up, I'm in my longest cycle ever and felt the need to know. So I went to the bathroom to test and when I wiped, I had VERY stretchy EWCM! Since I've been really paying attention to it (just in the last few weeks) I haven't had it THIS stretchy. So here's my question, DH and I BD yesterday evening, but when should we do this again?? I don't know (or maybe just can't remember) if this is because I'm O'ing today or will be sometime soon? Someone let me know if you can! Thanks!!

You should keep bding!!!! If you are having stretchy ewcm that is very fertile cm and an indicator that you are about to ovulate. I would keep bding. You guys are still newlyweds so go have some baby making fun tonight and report back to me in the morning. Teehheee Doctor Patty says so.
I will be looking at your chart in the morning. I hope you don't sleep too late because I will be going bananas. Haha. I will stalk you for sure in the morning though. Good luck I hope you catch a little egg!

looking at your chart & considering you have stretchy CM now, I would think that you could POSSIBLY be ovulating around now.... I don't bother temping now, because temps never showed ovulation for me - but I got pregnant twice with 'no ovulation detected' cycles, so I obviously did I find that CM is a better indicator for *me*

@ "Doctor Patty"! I most certainly hope that I am O'ing because that means three things...1.)I actually will go back to ovulating after being on HBC for a few years. 2.)Because if this is it, that means I caught it myself without the use of anything buy my own two eyes! And 3.) because of such great timing of BD'ing!! Now, I just need DH to get his rear home.
Btw, Patty, fair warning, we normally don't get up till about 10 CMT because DH works until 10 at night. So check back around 11 am for an update!
