Hi ladies, me & DP are just starting to TTC our first together (I have a 2y9m daughter from a previous relationship). Temping has never worked for me (ie ovulation was never detected with temping - but I would definately ovulate), but my CM is always very reliable - but I want to start checking my CP as well, and was wondering if there is a certain amount of times a day to check CP, or if there is a best time of the day? Or should I check at the same time roughly, each day???

I would love to look at some of your old charts. I know you said temping didn't work for you but when you chart you have to look at the entire chart and not just the temps. I would really love to have a peek at your old charts to see if I can see when you ovulated. I like looking at tricky charts and would love it if you thought about bbt temping again. If you don't that's fine too. Fertility charting isn't just about temping.

As for checking your cervix. There is not specific time you should check it but you should check it at the same time each day. My cervix position tends to fluctuate throughout the day. I think most gals experience this. So if you check it at different times you will have a really hard time seeing what is really happening. I would pick one time a day and just stick with that time. I check mine when I temp so that everything is recorded at the same time.
