How does FF determine the CL? I just think mine looks awfully high this month. Last month it looked more like the average of my pre-O temps, this month its just below my post-O temps & way above all my pre-O temps.

I believe it takes the highest of the last 6 temps before O and adds .1...that seems right, looking at your chart.

That is how the fertility awareness method does it but not how FF does it. They have their own method which I have yet to figure out. However, in this case it looks like they drew it based on the FAM rules.

It is kind of high but your preo temperatures were much higher this cycle so that is why your coverline is higher.

One more thing I noticed on your chart. Were you using a regular fever thermometer when you charted last cycle? I can't remember if you mentioned that. I noticed all your temps are on the tenth degree marks until you get to the end. Did you switch thermometers at the end of your last cycle or have all your temps just been like that? I think if you switched thermometers that is probably part of the reason your coverline is different this cycle.

Yes, I did switch thermometers at the end of last cycle. DH used my thermometer to take DS's temp (rectally), so that was the end of that. The placement of my CL in comparison to the temps is what confused me, not the actual temp it was placed at. Last month it was in the middle of my temps, this month its above the highest pre-O temp. Just thought it was weird.

Oh yeh, now I remember the rectal issue. LOL (not really funny but it sort of is)

FF has their own method of drawing your coverline. I think they may have discarded your temp on CD12 last month and drew it based on the highest preo temp on CD14. Your coverline is 1/10th degree above that temp so I think that may be how they drew it and why it was different.
