I had a big temp rise today....also my cervix moved up real high can't find the opening, and i have a lot of stretchy cm not quite stretchy enough but it is getting there. and my opk was darker this morning than last night. I think i'll take one tonight at 8 or 9. again but it looks promising i think. So tom or the next day i should notice a drop? MAybe. Just from studying everyone elses charts, that is what i gather. I want to have a boy so iwant to wait the longest i can.

You are doing really good with figuring things out. Can I ask you a few questions? How long are your cycles usually? You are missing a lot of preo temps so it is making it harder for me to interpret your chart. If you haven't gotten a positive opk yet and you are having really fertile CM and your CP is super high I tend to think you are going to ovulate soon but 98 is pretty high for a preo temp.


I will be curios to see how your chart looks tomorrow. Please let us know if you get a positive opk today!

Well thanks so much for replying back. I am missing info because I decided later in the game to start temping this cycle. Yesterday was the first time i used an opk, so i am not sure if maybe i did o when fertility friend said or not. Todays opk was a smidge darker than yesterday, so i thought maybe I am getting close. But I also thought, by looking at everyone elses charts that 98 was very high for a preo temp. I normally have a cycle between 28 and 30 days. My cervix is always hard to reach so I have a hard time really judging where it is. But today for sure it is high and yesterday and the day before there wasn't a lot of cm, but what was there was creamy. I am not very good at judging my cm yet. Is egg white cm where it stretches just a few centimeters supposed to be clear or white, because mine is white? Sorry I have a lot of questions. I know after a fw cycles it will be a lot easier to judge. Thanks

I think it is possible you are catching the tail end of your surge on your OPK. OPKs detect LH. When LH levels get high enough to indicate a surge you will have a positive opk. But, your OPK may still look positive for a day or two after your first because the LH is still in your system. If your OPK doesn't get darker today but instead starts getting lighter I would say you likely missed your surge. I am inclined to think you already ovulated based on your temperature but you will know more tomorrow. If you did O, I think CD 17 looks like the day and it would line up with your normal cycle lengths.

The CM you are describing sounds like creamy CM and not EWCM. You can see that type of CM after you ovulate and off and on through the 2ww. Egg white CM is clear and stretchy and looks just like egg whites. I would chart what you had as creamy because it could mess up the interpretation on your chart if you mark it as egg white.
