I have read the external is best so you don't get confused with vaginal secretions, but either way is fine as long as you are consistent. Is that true? I check mine first externally but don't seem to get much (unless I'm near O, I guess) so I usually do it internally...easier for me to find some, lol!

I usually check externally because when you see fertile CM on the TP or in your underwear you know that is what it is. But, I am getting older now and don't make as much CM as I used to. I think I am going to check internally this cycle. I also am going to start checking my CP again.

I always check internally. I'm getting up there in age as well, so I don't have the "gobs" on the underwear or tissue like the younger girls do. I remember those days... they just seem to be gone now. HA!!

I check internally too, I don't seem to get anything externally
