Ok, so I woke up this morning cold and of course new that would make a difference. My temp was 97.66 so FF took away the dotted cross hairs that I had yesterday. I checked CM and found that it was watery...but that wouldn't fit with what I had yesterday and the day before. I KNOW for sure that the day before was EWCM and I'm positive that today's is watery, so maybe I misjudged yesterday's? This is just so frustrating!

Btw, something that I haven't experienced before...I've done internal checks for CM previously with no problem, but yesterday and today after checking I've gotten cramps that feel similar to period cramps. Any ideas? I'm not doing anything differently now than I was before, so I don't get it.

I also get cramps, very slight, that only last a few minutes after I do my internal check, but not EVERY time. Hmm...

I think they took your crosshairs away because you are still having fertile CM. Watery CM is also very fertile CM like EWCM. Record it as watery on your chart. I think you are about to ovulate. I think that is why you are still having fertile CM and why FF took your crosshairs away. Hang in there. Charting can be very frustrating when you have a long cycle. Keep bding! Okay. I think you are getting close.

What is your CP like? See if you can find your cervix okay? If you need help with this let me know. If it is really high where you can't find it that is a great sign you are about to ovulate. I would try to start checking your cervix once a day after you take your temp. The more things you have on your chart the easier it will be to determine what is going on.

Patty, I've tried checking my cervix but can't seem to every find/reach it. I even went through the link you have for the woman who photographed hers each day of her cycle in hopes that it would help, but it didn't. I have no idea how far up it is/should be, where exactly I should be trying to find it, none of it. Is it further to the front (towards my abdomen) or further to the bottom (towards my tailbone)? I'm willing to try and find it, I just need to know better what and where I'm looking for. LOL

I just added a post to the Charting School on finding your cervix. I hope this helps you. If you need more help let me know.

Wow! I think I may have found it!! Thanks so much for posting the article and especially the link for the speculum. The drawing there helped out a lot. If what I'm feeling is my cervix (soft, smooth and more slick than the rest of what I feel in there) I can JUST BARELY reach it with my middle (and longest) finger. I can't even feel around to make sure that's it, I can only touch one little part of it. But I'm not going to give up! I'll keep checking each day and recording what I find. Thanks again Patty! I know you have a lot on your plate these days so I appreciate even more that you are taking the time to help me out.

Oh! One more question. Since I can barely feel it...should I consider it to be high and soft or should I just wait and see over the next couple of weeks?

I would go with high and soft and then see what happens over the next couple days. Just keep checking it and try to be consistent with the time of day you check it if you can. I usually check in the morning after I temp just because I know it will be at the same time.

WOOHOO! I hope you are ovulating!
