I used to really have a bad problem with charting insomnia. Now I am a little less excitable. I don't usually get this way until right before I o and then I get it bad during the 2ww. I hate it. I end up staying up until I am exhausted sometimes during the 2ww to make sure that when I fall asleep I stay asleep. Sometimes it works but I still sometimes find myself waking up in the middle of the night looking at the clock.

It doesn't seem to keep me from sleeping... but I've found that if I'm anticipating my temp in the morning, I'll have a dream about temping, my thermometer or some other piece of TTC paraphernalia. HA HA!!

No, but I have had dreams about numbers and thermometers and stuff like Nikki said.  My problem is...I check my FF chart over and over...like something is going to magically appear on it that I didn't put there...lol.

I find it hard to go to sleep usually around 2 or 3 am but once I'm asleep thats it I stay asleep. I have had some weird dreams when I'm in 2ww

Well I kept having to wake up with my son.. and then I wouldn't be able to fall back asleep because I was stressing about when I should temp.. and If I'd still get enough sleep for an acurate temp. Now I'm only temping every other day or so and I'm getting much better sleep.. for now

I am with you Patty! It happened just last night - I woke up at 1:30, then again at 3:50...ugh! I just try not to move and to fall back asleep so it doesnt affect my temp! I also agree with lilsunshine about checking the chart over and over! I mean we all know even a got hot chart can't tell you if your pregnant!

OMG I so agree with you! I had to temp at 5:13 this morning because I was wide awake and filled with anticipation. My alarm usually rings at 6, that's when I temp - as if that's not early enough! Geez. And yes, I'm on FF marvelling at my chart at least 47 times a day. Like it's gonna magically show me I'm pregnant? I'm working myself up so badly, I'm afraid I won't survive the BFN or AF!!!!

No, but temping has given me a really good internal alarm clock! Even on Sat/Sun I'm up at 0530... Even now that Ethan is sleeping later, I'm still up temping at 0530.

ROFL! ha ha ha!! Did someone just see into my thoughts?? Yes, I have had many nights that thinking about temping has kept me awake! I think that's why my temps over the last few days have been lower than they should be, because I don't think I'm sleeping as soundly as I was because I'm OBSESSED over my temp!
Which leads me to the other thing...yes, I keep FF open in another tab because I am constantly going to it! I've even taken to changing things around, putting in fake numbers ahead of time, whatever to see if I can get my O date to change or something! Men definitely have the better part of the bargain when it comes to TTC....

Funny that you mention it that last week or so I have dreams of waking up to early to post or having to get up to pee too early because I dont want to move to early or my chart will be all messed up LOL
