How long were you trying before you went to see him/her?
Did you get a referral from your regular OBGYN?
What made you decide to start seeing a specialist? Did your doctor suggest it or did you ask for a referral?
Have they given you an explanation as to why they think you are having problems conceiving?

We've been TTC#1 for over a year and I'm going to see the OB/GYN on the 11th of Aug and maybe start with IUI. My dr suggested it. I think the fact that we've been trying for so long and that I'm nearly 34 he thought it would be best to talk to the ob/gyn.

I was referred to a RE after 3 back to back m/c's. I have had 17 total losses and two live children. The RE tried so many different things. I had/have no problem getting knocked up. I just have a huge problem keeping them inside me. My last pregnancy (my daughter) we started the heparin shots and progesterone on 2 dpo and I started taking a tincture called Welcome Womb from about 7 dpo. Everytime I would start bleeding I would up the WW and it would taper off. I consider that stuff miracle tonic. It is made to stop PTL and m/c. I am taking it now.

Oh and I do have MTHFR

Wow. What a road you have walked Gina!

I am not seeing a fertility specialist and I really hope we won't have to. We decided that if we are not able to get pregnant on our own after 6 months of trying, then we'll seek help.
