I bought a box of these yesterday. I'm waiting for the results... you use FMU and have to wait 30 minutes.

I was just curious, while I'm waiting for the results, if anyone else has used this test yet?

I have not used them either but 30 min seems like a long time to wait for a test.

I don't know why it takes 30 minutes. Maybe because of the type of hormone FSH is or the amounts that are in your body.

Well, my results are normal! Yay!! I only got one line, which for once, is a GOOD THING! HA!!

I was wondering about those, now that someone has tried them, I may have to as well if I end up having to try for another cycle!

It's one more thing I can check off the list and not stress about.

I have not used it but I think it is because I have a pretty good idea why I am not getting pregnant. I did talk to dh again this morning and I think I am going to try to get an appt with a fertility specialist when we get back from September. I am still feeling a bit conflicted about this though so I haven't completely decided if that is what we will do.

That is great news that your test came back normal. May I ask have you been to the doc for a preconception appt? That is one of the first things I did when I started ttc this time. I think it is good to start talking to a doctor early this way if you need help you already have someone ready to make a referral or run tests or whatever for you.

You're probably right Patty. I haven't done because we haven't gotten new doctors yet since we moved from PA.

I'm one of those people who likes to have a doctor referred to me rather than just randomly picking one out of a directory knowing nothing about them, kwim? Our doctor in Philly was actually my grandmother, mom & dad's doctor... so I knew he was good. We asked our friends here in DE about their doctor and unfortunately the last we heard, she is not taking new patients.

So at the moment... we're kinda between a rock and a hard place. I really don't wanna do the whole "throw a dart at a bunch of dr's names"! LOL!

I can totally relate! I do not have a doc up here now either. My doctor is two hours away. I am still trying to figure out what I am going to do if I get pregnant. I am probably going to drive the two hours for the first part of my pregnancy while I look for a new doctor.
