I posted this in TTC #1 as well but thought you ladies might be able to help....

I was sure i had already O'd but yesterday and today's temps are low. I'm not really sure what this means. I've never had this happen before. Yesterday i had a lot of sticky CM and my OPKs are negative now. It feels like my cervix is still a little high and open but i never look too much into this because it confuses me. I guess if it was someone else asking i'd say it looked like they hadn't O'd yet, but it doesn't make sense to me. I feel like i have and i did get that one high temp. Does that not mean anything now that i got two low ones? I've also never O'd this late before. I feel really bummed and like the chances of getting my BFP from this cycle are extremely low now. What do you think??


BTW, for those who don't know me I'm Krista (21) and DH is Jimmy (24). We're on our 8th cycle of TTC with a m/c on our 6th cycle.

First of all, welcome to the Fertility Charting board! We are so glad you stopped by and I hope you will pop in more often. The gals here are very supportive and everyone is usually very quick about answering questions.

I think you are going to ovulate soon but haven't quite yet. You just had to positive opks so that means you should likely ovulate soon. I don't always ovulate right after getting a positive. I have had a few charts where it took several days before I actually o'd. You have all the right signs. Your CP seems to be moving up higher. When you ovulate it will often get so high you can no longer reach it. I think you are gearing up to ovulate and will see your temp shift very soon. Hopefully tomorrow!

You said that you normally don't ovulate this late but last cycle your chart shows you didn't ovulate until CD 20. I think you may just be ovulating a tad late this cycle. I really think your temp will be up tomorrow!

I will try to stalk you again tomorrow to see what I think but I bet it will go up tomorrow.

Thanks for your reply Last cycle I O'd late because i had a m/c so it was delayed because of that. That's the only time i've O'd later than CD 16. My cervix is still kinda high but is lower than it was a couple days ago and doesn't seem nearly as squishy and soft. I've been checking it for several cycles but i look at it as a secondary sign and don't put too much stock into it because it's really hard for me to determine one specific O day from it. It has never gotten so high that i can't reach it for instance.

I'm actually kinda nervous maybe because of my m/c, my body isn't back to normal and ovulating like it usually does. I dunno.

Hi Krista! I think you will like this board - it seems more active then ttc#1 to me! As for your chart I agree with Patty, it seems like you are just about to O! But man your pre O temps are high! I hope that's a good sign for you this cycle - good luck!

Krista, I think you may O tomorrow or at least very soon. If you look at last month's chart, you had a VERY similar move from your yesterday to today's temp, then you O'd.

Krista- On occasion i won't ovulated until 48 hours after my last positive opk. You might have ovulated today. I would bd just to cover yourself. GL
