Ok, as of this morning I will be setting my alarm for 9 a.m. to temp. (I know this may sound late for most of you, but DH works till 10 p.m. so we don't go to bed till late. ) Anyway, I'm normally up at roughly 9:30, sometimes as late as 10 a.m.

Well I temped this morning and I had a pretty good temperature spike. Do yall think this is just because of the time difference or did I actually have a spike like this? I can't imagine that the waking time (which is AT MOST an hour) would affect my temp that way, but I don't know. Help, please?

I have read it can go up .2 degrees for every extra hour you sleep in. What time were you taking your temps before?

What time were you getting up before at 9:30 or 10:00? What I am getting at is were you getting up earlier or later today? I think you had a temp spike with or without the change in time but just trying to decide how off it might be.

If you got up earlier it should be slightly lower not slightly higher.

I would normally wake (and immediately temp) between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Usually closer to 9:30 most every day. I woke up earlier today, at 9 a.m. So I didn't know if waking up and temping a half an hour to an hour earlier would make a huge difference.

So if my temp would have been higher if I'd slept longer, then yes, I definitely had a temp spike.

Any ideas as to why I'd be having a temp spike like that 8 days after O?

If it did make a difference it should have made your temp slightly lower not higher. So I think you are in great shape and have a hot looking chart today! Can't wait to see tomorrow's temp!

I think that's an awesome temp spike, and you got up earlier so had the potential to be even a little bit higher, 8 DPO, I think that your chart is smokin and hopefully on the way to a BFP!!!

Oh man, I sure hope it turns out to be a good sign! I'm trying not to invest too much into it, because as they say, "It's not one temp that says anything, it's the overall pattern". But in truth, I thought for SURE I was going to get a lower temp today because when the alarm went off I wasn't fully covered and felt cool. So when I saw that temp my eyes about popped out of my head. LOL

It looks like a nice spike. I was going through some of the charts over at the Ovusoft gallery yesterday and I saw a chart like yours I think it was in the "not so normal charts" gallery that resulted in pregnancy.

Thanks and wow! My temp was .01 higher than it was yesterday which is good, I'm hoping it stays up. And I would be over the moon happy if this ended up being a pregnancy chart!! I just can't tell though. My mind says I'm not pregnant, but my body is sending out signals that I am. Gah! It's just so frustrating!!

Welcome to the nuttiness that is the TWW! This is the time when everything seems like something as much as you don't want it to!!

Your chart looks good though... hang in there.
