Do you try to keep the sperm up there longer with any tricks? I try to stay in bed for as long as I can. I also use Instead soft cups around my o date. I have gotten used to them finally and don't get them stuck up there anymore. LOL. That's about it but I do try to keep it all up there as long as I can.

We're not TTC yet, but when we are, I plan on staying in bed for at least 30 minutes afterwards, with my hips elevated. I'll also avoid taking a shower right away afterwards (like we usually do) since I'd be worried about the heat killing the spermies (which are oh-so-fragile, lol).

Pretty much just lying in bed with my feetsies up in the air! Patty, I was going to ask if anyone here used the cups either for AF, to keep spermies in or to monitor CM. Thanks for bringing it up!

So far I have just done the lying in bed for 15-20 minutes after, with pillows under me so I am elevated! But I have been thinking about using the Instead cups, I have heard good things about them!

This cycle I have just layed in bed (no pillows) and fell asleep. The one time we BD'd after work, I elevated my hips for 20 minutes, then got up.

I've never heard of using the Instead cups as an aid for conceiving... That's really interesting. I thought that they were just used for AF. Would that really work for keeping the spermies up there? Wouldn't they just fall down into the cup away from the cervix with gravity, anyway? o_O

Wow you ladies are hardcore! I tried to lay in bed for 15-20 minutes but I always get UTI's so I'm scared to wait too long before peeing!

I generally try to stay laying down for at least 30 minutes. Many times we bd at bed time, so it's not like I've got floors to scrub afterwards. LOL!

I've noticed that when DH knows he's um... getting ready to release the troops, he aims for my cervix so they are as close to the opening as possible.

This ain't your grandma's Baby Makin'! HA!!

I normally don't except for the few minutes of cuddle time. When he ejaculates, most of it kind of balls up inside of you for the most part. That ball will stay up there for a bit before breaking down and leaking out(minus most of the sperm). That's why so many of us are still leaking hours--or a whole day--later.
