It was bad. The worst boo boo I have had with any of my kids (or for that matter that I have ever seen I think). Jeremy didn't act like it hurt too bad but it was so deep you could see his skull bone.

I think I handled it worse than Jeremy. I kept thinking I was going to faint or get sick. I normally am not so wimpy but it looked bad. They gave him five stitches.

Now I am just so tired. I didn't get enough sleep and today is our homeschool group day. We are just getting the group off the ground and I am in charge of it otherwise I would just skip the park day today.

Yesterday was a bad day all around for me. (Other than the good grade on my exam. That was my one bright spot).

Oh wow I hate that he got hurt but it sounds like he handeled it like a champ. When I was WAY pregnant with Paige Jessie cut her toe and I had to take her to the ER and she needed stiches I was a wreck but she was fine.

I hope that he gets better and your week ends better.

Poor Jeremy!! I'm so sorry you guys had to go through that. I know what a drag the ER can be too. YUCK!

I hope you are able to muddle through the homeschool group day with both eyes open.

I say you run yourself a nice hot scented bath tonight, climb in, and let Calgon take you away!! You deserve to recharge that battery!

Well I'm glad that he's ok now and was fine in the ER. This is one of the parts that I'm not looking forward to when I'm a mommy. I don't deal well with things like this, so I'll be right there with you on that whole "verge of fainting" bit. But hopefully I'll be lucky enough to have a child that's a brave as yours is who will just go through it like it's a paper cut on his finger.

And today might not be a bad day for an extra cup of 1/2 and 1/2!

*hugs, hugs, hugs* for you Patty! I mean, poor Jeremy, too, obviously... but as usual in these situtions within a very short period of time the kiddo is fine and dandy whilst the Mummy is still a wreck, getting flashbacks, and chewing nails over what could have been.

So more *hugs* for you, Hun!

Thanks guys. I am feeling a little better now. Still upset about the whole thing. (We had cousins over here and that is how it happened. They were playing Army or something and trying to keep each other out of each others forts or something. He got hit in the head with a door.)

I am going to try to catch over here and on AIP but I am so tired now. I am not used to being up late like that. I don't think I got to sleep until 2am.
