Dh said yesterday that when we get our BFP this time it will be our last. I have to admit I am not sure if I will be happy with three. I think if I have a boy this time I might be butI can tell you I will ot get my tubes tied

This will probably be our last. I do not want any more after this. I didn't think I would ever get to a point where I didn't want any more babies but I am there now. I want one more and then I don't want any more. I do not want to get my tubes tied either but for different reasons. I am so paranoid about having another ectopic and I worry that somehow it would happen even with my tubes tied. I will either talk dh into the big V or I am really thinking about just charting to avoid. I think we can do that and use a barrier method during my peak days.

Since this is our first we're TTCing, no it won't be the last. DF wanted one child when we met but I've managed to talk him into 2. My choice would be 3 kids, but we'll see if I'll be able to talk him into that hehe

DF has 3 kids from a previous marriage, all boys. Initially he wasn't sure he wanted more due to financial reasons, but now he wants one more than I do... So, we're hoping for a girl. We agreed to only have 1, but I told him if we have a boy, we'll be having 2 and he just laughs so we'll see! I love boys, have always wanted a boy, but with him having 3, it would be nice to have one I can have a bond with like I do my mom

This is actually something that I worry about.

I have always wanted at least 2... I think 3 would be perfect.

HOWEVER... I am 34 years old and at the rate we're going... and DH has said the same thing, we may be lucky to even get ONE.

I am really hoping that once I've had one successful pregnancy, that future pregnancies will be easier... but I've also seen lots of ladies on here trying and trying for another, so I know there's no guarantee.

So, while I certainly hope this will not be our last... I'm realistic enough to realize that time is not on my side and I may have to be happy with one.

I am TTC #1 right now. If things were perfect I think 2 would be enough with a boy and a girl. But if we had two boys I'd want to try for a girl & I'm sure if we had 2 girls DH would want to try for a boy.

Coley: 1 of my clients is having her second baby on monday and she is 40. She had her first at 38 - it can totally happen!

Patty: After we have all our kids & inbetween I would like to use charting to avoid as well. I am loving the way I look & feel after coming off BCP & so is DH! No more BCP for me!

I could not agree more...you took the words right out of my mouth!!! I have completely forgotten how much better I felt pre-bcp!! No more bcp for me either!
We are TTC of first and not our last (unless God has other plans). DH and I have talked and we definitly want 2 and once we have 2, we will discuss a third. I am leaning towards a third and DH doesnt argue it....we just say we will cross that bridge when it gets here.

We had always left it open ended as far as how many, and I, like Patty wasn't sure I'd EVER be done. But you just know when you get there, whether you are done or not. This baby will make 3 for us and I am treating it as if it is my last if that makes sense...but I don't think I will know for sure (or DH) for a while.

I'd love to have a boy (for DH) but I'd also love to have another girl b/c that's what I'm familiar with, so either way, it will be GREAT.
