Anything you want to pass on to your little one?
I really want to have fun and interesting hobbies but the only one I really have is digital scrapbooking and I barely ever do it. I would like to start knitting again and teach my girls (and the boys if they want to learn to) how to do it. I did get knitting needles and try to teach Angie but uh.. knitting needles and little ones are not a good combination. They were getting used for purposes other than what they were intended for so I think we are going to wait on trying this again for a bit.

I make jewelry. I love beading, making necklaces, earrings, bracelets...and I actually got to teach my niece (she's 3) how to make a basic bracelet when she was up here visiting a couple of months ago. That would be fun to teach to a little girl, but I don't think a boy would go for it.
I also love to do cross stitching, but haven't done that in years!
Here's my Zoe girl and I making bracelets! (She only wanted the yellow beads LOL)

She was such a good student!

I can do most of crafty stuff, like crochet, knitting, cross stitching and so on. My mom taught me how to do those so I would love to do that for my kids one day. I also would love to teach my kids to cook and bake and help out around the kitchen at an early-ish age since that's what I've been used to growing up

I think our most interesting hobby is our medieval reenactment stuff that we go to. We are TOTALLY going to pass that on to our kid!! Especially if we have a boy!! It's one of the few places where chivalry is NOT dead! It's one of the few places where I truly feel like a lady 24/7!
I have also been blessed with the ability to sing and would love if that gift is passed along to my children. My mom passed it on to me... so hopefully I can continue the tradition.

Michelle-your niece is too cute!!!
Coley-that sounds like ubber fun!!!
Dh and I are into cars, mainly Corvettes. His parents and sister/BIL all have vettes. DH bought one when we first got married for himself and then we went and bought an older one for me. We got rid of both of them and got a newer one (2001 Z06). He loves working and tinkering with it, so I know when we have kids (whether its a girl or boy) he will get them under the hood with him. I enjoy learning about them and understand what the parts do (and why we spend so much money on these parts LOL).
I also enjoy exercising and have found how much of a difference it can make on your quality of life. Diabetes runs in my family (dad has it plus some heart complications), so I need to stay healthy so I can avoid those diseases as much as possible. I also would love for my child to have an appreciation for sports and exercising like I never did when I was younger.

Aww, thanks Candace! She's quite a character too! If you look at the picture I posted in the "do you look your age" thread you can see she likes to cut up a lot.
Coley, if I could choose one talent to have, it would be to have a great singing voice! I love to sing, but I could scare a lion away with my voice.
Candace, apparently there is something contagious about vettes! I haven't gotten around one, but every person I know just can't live without one once they've had their own!

Very cool hobbies!!
I am a scrapbooker. Ok, so lately it's more of a scrapbook shopper/supply collector, lol! Are we allowed to post blogs? If not, let me know and I will delete.

Don't do much other than that!

Candace, I agree about the exercising and sports, that's exactly what I'm planning on doing, have my kids do lots of sports in school. My dad also has diabetes and high blood pressure, as do most of his sisters and brothers, so I'm kind of worried about that too. I know I read somewhere how you've lots a lot of weight, good for you, that's what I did too and I still have about 10 to 15 pounds to go.

Arya-thank you! It hasnt been easy, I still have 15 lbs to lose. But a 30 week plateau isnt helping! LOL I am glad I wasnt the only one that said exercise because I know that sounds kind of silly.
Michelle-exactly! Its more of a lifestyle, not just a car.
